What data we collect
We only collect what you yourself type into the forms on the website.
- Assessment form: name, phone number, email, whether the help is for yourself or someone close to you, service, town or city, preferred day and time, and additional information.
- Friend service form: name, phone number, email, address and city, preferred way and time of contact, language, what kind of help is needed, additional information, and the name, phone number and relationship of an emergency contact.
You do not need to write your personal identity code or any health information in the form. We discuss these in the assessment if needed.
Why and on what basis
We use the data to reply to your enquiry and to arrange an assessment or a service.
The processing is based on your request: we work out with you whether we will enter into a contract (EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Article 6(1)(b)). When someone close to you or an emergency contact is named in the form, the basis is our legitimate interest in handling the request (Article 6(1)(f)).
How the form works
When you send the form, our server sends the data by email to Monihoiva’s mailbox. At the same time you receive a confirmation in your own email with a copy of the data you sent.
The website has no database: form data is not stored on the website. It exists only in these two emails.
The emails are delivered by the Resend service on our behalf (processor). Resend is a US company, so the data may be transferred outside the EU. The transfer is based on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
The messages are read only by Monihoiva staff who handle enquiries. We do not sell the data or use it for advertising.
Using the website and cookies
The website runs on the Vercel service. Vercel records technical log data on the server, such as the IP address and the page requested, so that the website works and stays secure.
We use Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights. They count visits and measure page speed without cookies, and they do not identify individual visitors.
The website does not use tracking or advertising cookies.
How long we keep data
We keep the data for as long as it is needed to handle your request. If you become our client, the data is then used to manage the client relationship. Otherwise we delete it once the matter has been handled.
Your rights
- You can find out what data we hold about you and ask for a copy of it.
- You can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- You can ask us to delete your data or restrict its processing.
- You can object to processing that is based on legitimate interest.
